On Monday, October 4th I received an email from Brittnell Anderson of Cogs and Marvel inquiring about giant gold crane mobiles for an upcoming event in New York City on October 21st. He had come across some pictures of gold spiral mobiles I had made in 2010, and wanted something similar. This autumn I got an email letting me know that my product submission for the Etsy Design Awards had made it to the finals of the competition.  At first I was skeptical, and thought the email was a phishing scam, but when I re-read it I realized it was real!
